Exclusive breastfeeding plays an important role insaving a child’s life. It is estimated that, if every baby were exclusively breastfed from birth up to 6 months 1.5 million lives would be saved each year. Breast milk is said to be the baby’s first immunization. However, based on researches done, it is found that exclusive breastfeeding especially among working mothers who delivered in private hospitals is much lesser compared to in public hospitals.
